- 1 cup frozen strawberries
- 1/2 cup frozen blueberries
- 3/4 cup full-fat canned coconut milk
- 1 scoop vanilla protein powder
- 1 tablespoon raw almond butter
- 1/2 teaspoon raw honey
- 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup filtered water or plant milk
- 3 to 4 ice cubes
Instructions
- Gather all ingredients and equipment before starting.
- Fill your blender pitcher halfway with ice cubes to chill the container.
- Remove the ice and set aside the chilled blender pitcher.
- Add the coconut milk to the bottom of the blender pitcher.
- Add the almond butter on top of the coconut milk.
- Add the vanilla protein powder.
- Add the raw honey.
- Add the vanilla extract.
- Add the frozen strawberries and frozen blueberries.
- Add the ice cubes and filtered water or plant milk.
- Secure the blender lid tightly.
- Blend on medium speed for 30 seconds.
- Increase to high speed and blend for 60 to 90 seconds until completely smooth.
- Stop the blender and check the consistency.
- Add more water if the smoothie is too thick.
- Add more ice if the smoothie is too thin.
- Blend for another 15 to 20 seconds if adjustments are needed.
- Pour immediately into a tall glass.
- Drink within 10 minutes for the best flavor and texture.
Notes
Use full-fat canned coconut milk for the creamiest texture. Frozen berries work best because they keep the smoothie thick and cold. Add coconut milk first for smoother blending, and avoid overblending once the texture is fully smooth.
