4 whole wheat pita breads
1 medium cucumber, sliced
2 medium tomatoes, sliced
1 cup crumbled feta cheese
1/2 cup tzatziki sauce
1 tbsp olive oil
1 clove garlic, minced
1 tsp dried oregano
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
1 tbsp lemon juice (optional)

Instructions

Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat
Add ground turkey and cook until browned and no longer pink (about 5-7 minutes)
Stir in minced garlic, oregano, salt, and pepper. Cook 2 minutes
Warm pita bread in a dry skillet for 30 seconds each side
Assemble sandwiches by adding turkey mixture, cucumber slices, tomato slices, crumbled feta, and tzatziki
Sprinkle with additional oregano and a drizzle of lemon juice if desired
